Fair enough, that’s your opinion, but I thought we were shite. Yes, we had a few chances, but second half we’ve not had any pressure whatsoever, and imo it was down to the formation, and incorrect subs by Pep. We didn’t overload the wings like we normally do, due to the fullbacks having to sit deep. Consequently Bernie and Kev didn’t know whether to stay central or go wide etc etc etc.

Lacking creativity? We missed 2 open nets, had 2 disallowed by millimetres, DeGea made at least 3 world class saves one with his feet, one from Ageuro’s header and Walker’s thunderbolt.
On a different day it could have been 4 or 5 easy.
We were garbage in the league game against them and got what we deserved.
But tonight, we created shit loads of chances and restricted them to none. Completely in control.
The emotion attached to a derby just clouds people’s objectivity.
In a sea of the absolute shite posted on here tonight, it’s nice to see someone with a brain cell getting involved.
Only a few of us this evening, and Pep of course who hold the same point of view.

Pleased to be through to the final, although it's just hard to accept that we're a shadow of the side we were last season.
Winning the League Cup will not enough and does not constitute a good season by any means.
what does then?? We can’t win the league every year

They are a stubborn side and they have Rashford. Bloody good job he wasn't playing tonight.To be fair we slag them, and ogs is shit and they are shit but they have done us twice on the bounce at home
Martial is complete rubbish. Our defence totally bossed that game winning almost everything. It was our forward line that for one didn't click. Everything else was pretty good imo.

Yes. That healed some of the wounds from 2010 stuck in OT listening to "Que Sera Sera". It was nervy, but made the victory sweeter because we gave them some hope. And as many have said...it keeps Ole at the wheel!
It’s weird that Guardiola has a virtually immaculate record against United at Old Trafford, but fairly poor against them at our place. Not sure if he overthinks things or gives them too much respect at The Etihad, but it’s a bit of an odd anomaly.
