Putting his quality celebration aside, I've said for years now he doesn't get anywhere near not even remotely close the credit he deserves for the role he plays.

He's obviously adored by us as City fans, But overall he rarely ever gets a mention! He's by far the best ball playing centre back in world football by a considerable distance!

No other centre back in any league across the world can do what John Stones does, I'll say it again and again and again he's the best centre back on the planet.

Fucking love the guy.

When Phil’s second went in I celebrated with my toddler and he sung ‘City, City, best team in the land and all the world’ for the very first time with me.

Easily one of the best moments of my life.

I always kept the faith our brilliant blue boys would turn it around.

By the way, we really need to trademark “And City comeback to win 3-1”.

I was at the game so lucky I did not have to view the match thread but I can imagine what it was like, in the ground there was a feeling of disbelief we were battering them but I felt quietly confident that we would prevail, very few teams can cope with that kind of relentless pressure

I envy you, being at the game. That second half must have been enjoyable. I never doubted that we were more than capable of turning it around.

There's quite a few on here who are pushing their luck. Abusive ones, ones that target other posters, WUMs, etc etc. But we try to leave the issue of modding to our posters. We would hope they'd be sensible, and self regulate. We don't want to be like RAWK, banning people willy nilly. If you have an issue with the way the forum is moderated, however, you are of course free to contact @Ric with your concerns. The same applies to any poster who is unhappy with our handling of the forum.

For what it's worth I think you mods do a decent job. We only get to see the posts that make it, there must be plenty of absolute shite that gets stopped.

People overreact to comments. If we're in the thread we're probably not at the game, so calling a player shit etcetera if they miss a chance or cock up is just a reaction to what happened, not actually meaning the player is shit. They can't hear us so it's not going to effect their performance or confidence. It's just fans expressing their frustration or joy in real time as it happens on their TV or stream. The same as fans shouting "Get behind the lads!" etcetera. Again they can't hear us.

Being at a game live and watching it on TV are totally different, as is following it in the forum. Live you can get behind the team and hopefully spur them on. Online we're all just shouting into a void. Good for releasing frustration and tension but nothing else really.

Great City performance. I actually thought that the rags set up the right way and their only hope was to hit us on the break. If they had gone toe to toe , we would have hammered them. We simply have to much quality.

What a player Phil has become.

The only downside was Doku who was dogshit and has been for a while. I would like to see Bobb get a few games

ffs haaland , kdb and foden all missed sitters but yeah doku is the only downside and a dog shit .

Making a fortune out of 3.1 scoreline this season have a bet on that every game quids in .don't know how many times this season in all competitions won by that scoreline but must be in double figures

If it was 1-1, we'd be screaming for 8 minutes. They were time wasting from minute 1.

That's why the present system is unfair. A team time wasting to hang on is suddenly losing yet they then get eight extra minutes to rescue the game. They shouldn't have that chance.
