United (H) Post Match Thread

Woke up and not to bothered now I was much more pissed off with the dippers game.

1st half absolutely fantastic had we been more clinical we'd have been out of site. 2nd half rags took their chances and ref gave them every single decision Atkinson was a complete joke needs looking at. Thought Pep should have started full strength had he had done it would have been over by half time because Sergio or Jesus would have put away those Sterling misses.

My rag mates yesterday reminded me of myself when we used to be shit and always behind them they were buzzing until I reminded them it's still 13 points.

Yesterday the rags delayed the inevitable it's coming we just need to wait a little longer.

The expected goal (xG) stat was City 3.47 and United 0.98.

How do they manage to score 3 goals with xG of 0.98 ???!!!! That suggests that the rags victory was mainly by luck than judgement.

They have a habit of this - they beat Arsenal 3-1 in December and the xG was Arsenal 4.24 rags 2.07. Also remember on more than one occasion they have won 2-1 with only one shot on target ! SCABBY BASTARDS. Its as if there is a supernatural force making it happen !

The referee decisions helped the rags too.

And what if we do qualify for Champ League Semi ? The scenario of a winning a league game to win the prem in between two champ league legs will reappear !

WE ARE DOOMED !

Both games against the dippers and this one against the rags we’ve lost the game due to a mad 10/15 mins. We really need to sort ourselves out and stop them periods from occurring. Our mental strength was never in doubt the first half of the season but maybe now we’re seeing the boys tire, both physically and mentally.

I’ve noticed our pressing has gone way down in recent weeks and we’re not creating as much angles as we used to when Eddie has the ball. Dinho is vital to that and I don’t blame him if he’s shagged he’s played more or less every game. Mad we didn’t buy a CM in the summer/January.

But is it a one in a lifetime opportunity?
We stopped the rags winning it at old toilet in 2013. There title win was delayed by two games as a result.

Go one then I`ll bite when was the last time in your or my ( aged 62 ) experience when WE had the chance to win the league against the Rags

.....

No didn`t think so ..

I must be a football genius because when i heard the line up i knew we'd struggle. Then at half time i said i hope he changes it . It was as clear as day. Perhaps not to the likes of you but to a level headed honest fan it is.
But Bill, some of us are clued up enough to know that they would come out fighting in the second half, no way they wanted to be humiliated as the 1st half. Seems we knew, the players didn't or if they did have a warning from Pep they decided to be passive bystanders. They just stood and watched. I'll never understand how Otamendi as a professional footballer can watch Pogba jog past him for a free header. It's beyond belief. Dont dare criticise Pep. He is a God apparently and is beyond reproach to some. Constructive analysis isnt allowed on here the keyboard warriors will not allow it.

I said, not long ago, that I’ve never felt more disconnect from the club and that really they don’t understand or care to understand the core local fanbase.

We had a historic chance to win the league against our local rivals but the club prioritised the chance to earn an extra £7m prize money (and whatever they might earn from ticket sales) that you get by reaching the semi-finals of the CL instead.

Queue for ....fanny wipes ....rag ......glory hunter... Tin Hat mate ( I also agree with you )

Seeing the Rags celebrate and the number out wearing shirts today just reminds how far we have come

Likkle Citeh has been buried in the vault of bad memories

Their reactions tells the whole story
