I’ve just been reading through many threads in here, and the Player Performance forum, and it is interesting that the “amplifying” response posts (the ones repeatedly agreeing and building upon very negative comments or strong criticism of Pep/players/club) generally are coming from posters I’ve never seen before, with very low posts counts and very little recent activity. And those posts are then being responded to by still more (or the same) mystery contributors with agreement and further vitriol.

Its incredibly frustrating and annoying,but that is how the majority of these clowns get their kicks.We,as admin,know who they are and we try to watch them carefully.However,despite best efforts (and deleting plenty without it getting on the board) we miss the occasional WUM/Troll type comment and that is where reporting such would be much appreciated.Simply moaning about other members or replying with anger doesn't help and keeps us in the dark.

The expected goal (xG) stat was City 3.47 and United 0.98.

How do they manage to score 3 goals with xG of 0.98 ???!!!! That suggests that the rags victory was mainly by luck than judgement.

They have a habit of this - they beat Arsenal 3-1 in December and the xG was Arsenal 4.24 rags 2.07. Also remember on more than one occasion they have won 2-1 with only one shot on target ! SCABBY BASTARDS. Its as if there is a supernatural force making it happen !

The referee decisions helped the rags too.

And what if we do qualify for Champ League Semi ? The scenario of a winning a league game to win the prem in between two champ league legs will reappear !

WE ARE DOOMED !

I remember a couple of seasons back they somehow managed to win their first 2 games, scoring 3 goals, despite only having a total of ONE shot on target in those 2 games!

Of the 3 goals one was an OG and one was a wicked deflection that was going well wide.

What other team on the planet could get 6 points despite only having one shot on target in 180 minutes of football!!

Mourinho changed their game plan at half time and we did not react until it was too late. The throwing on of subs at 3-2 was just desperation to try and save the game. Never understand why you don’t start with your strongest side and then bring players off. Gutted but it’s typical city and let’s get the league won. Let’s get behind the lads on Tuesday whatever happens.

We were 2-0 up and played them off the park. Feel as though mentally they like the fans thought the game was over. If KDB or Sergio had got injured we as fans would be going beserk. Seeing them celebrate as if they had won the league will hopefully inspire our players for Tuesday and beyond. Winning yesterday would of been the cherry on top of the cake and the journey home was horrible, detest losing to them but as the saying goes They might of won the battle but we win the war (league).
Think yesterdays second half shows we need another striker who can come off the bench and another ball winning/tackling midfielder

That’s a pretty arrogant statement when we’re playing out fiercest rival who are also 2nd in the league.

2-0 up and cruising - we should not have lost. Nothing arrogant about that I dont think

Completely disagree mate. If Kun, KDB & Walker had started that game we would now be Champions and on a major high - which is what we needed after Liverpool.
We are now on a serious low and two of the toughest games of the season coming up next.
Pep fucked up on Wednesday and again yesterday. Hey, he's human but on occasions he tries to be just a bit to clever for his own good and it has cost us dearly.

Mate, that is speculative. You or I can neither confirm or deny that would have been the outcome. Bottom line is the team fielded created so many excellent chances in the first half to have put the game to bed and once again we failed to capitalise.

How did we lose that game?

We were 40 minutes away from being champions. Against the rags. And we blew it.

I hope we don't blow this lead in the league. We'd never hear the end of it.
