United (H) Post Match Thread

Love the way we play with intelligence. They man-mark Silva and Bernardo and we counter it. Silva’s drift wide leaving Stones and Fernandinho 2 on 1 against Fellaini!!

Imho we tried to overly control the game after we scored 1-0. Therefore dropping the tempo and made them look better than they are.
Second half was what we are about these days. Hardly giving opponents a sniff if any at all.

We are way ahead of that lot and it’s been going on for years. It’s still a derby so occasionally they get a result. But they just play to avoid a hiding.

It’s simply a joy watching us play and let’s hope we can keep this up for many more years. If we are allowed to do so ...

Possibly. I wasn't really talking about what Pep said more the general attitude towards it and Mata shouting at him at the time. I have just never got why it annoys anyone. No different from nutmegging a player etc, if you have the skills to take the piss use them. The thing that confuses me does relate to what you say though. If Raheem does that and some big dirty **** like Fellaini goes in on him and injures him as retribution, I am confident you would have had plenty of pundits saying Raheem deserved it and that Fellaini was in some way entitled to do it because showboating is so out of order. I honestly just don't understand it and never have. But then it doesn't surprise me, after all we are talking about a sport where some people view spitting at someone as worse than stamping on them.

Fellani is about as subtle as a nuclear war head, he came lumbering over with murder in his eyes to leave a mark on Sterling, who saw the big useless used bog brush headed twat coming and made sure that if he took him out it was from behind and would cost him a instant ban for a red. still the gormless fucker put his knee into sterling’s left thigh and that should of been a foul. Taylor ignored it as he ignored smallings arm across sane for a clear penalty. Sterlings reaction was to carry on taking the piss from the resulting corner to show them he wasn’t hurt or scared of their so called hard man which is why the gentleman footballer that is Juan “bitpart” Mata decided to take matters into his own hands. Taylor read the situation and blew for full time as he knew it was going to get nasty.
Sterling was entitled to take the piss he/we had earnt the right they were going through the motions
If Mata had scored another last minute equaliser he would have celebrated in front of our fans like they won a trophy.
Personally I loved the keep ball exhibition of Sterling, Sane and Foden it just showed the gulf in class
What the rags players and fans need to understand is that no one is scared of them anymore and long may that continue

Number one. The referee was flawless. Well done sir. Number 2. Raheems stepover. Where's the harm. Rooney was at it for years before he was put out to pasture. Number 3. Ederson only gave the penalty away due to the cold and extreme boredom facing the biggest club in the worlds fearsome attack. Number 4. Wuhooòoòooooooooooooooooooooooo.
