United (H) Post Match Thread

They'd love one because it would get high viewing figures. In any case, there's nothing they can do to influence it one way or the other.
Tend to agree with this.

The hype will be unimaginable. Even moreso if we've won the league, hopefully beaten Spurs in the league cup.

The media will be begging the rags to beat us.

The Noisy Neighbours v The Party Poopers.

Had a couple of days to reflect on this and can't accept that a bang average player like Shaw continually made runs on the left- including for the second goal. Had Kyle started at right back, I'd put a weeks wages on that Shaw would have been in his pocket. I didn't think the performance was that bad and the pundits/media have gone overboard on how ' good ' United were but that's only to be expected. Disappointing that there did seem a lack of urgency at times and we let them get at us especially in the first 10/15 minutes. Kev well off it but he did grow into the game. We had enough chances to get at least a point and highlights the need - once again - we need Erling Haaland.......

Does anyone know how many penalties Martial as had or "gained" for uShited?
Don't know but what I do know is that the penalties Bernardo and Jesus gave away were ridiculous and both so early in each match.
Even worse when United have a tendency to go down easy.

Yeah i know.
Almost a mirror image of last seasons fixture.
An early penalty.
Counter attacked us after it.
Us more possession and chances, yet lose.
Even their 2 different keepers in the fixture both got yellows for time wasting.

One thing that did make me laugh at the time was Fatman Shaw doing an impression of "Ivor the Boneless" out of Vikings, trying to crawl back onto the pitch on his Fat Arse to get the game stopped to waste more time.
What a fecking knob he looked

To be honest I am gutted by the loss.
It was going to happen at some point, I guess the Rags doing it was a massive blow. Still top of the league, still should win the title and more.
I do find the comments about if we played certain players, it may have been different, as if we know better than Pep.Am trying to actually be grateful for the winning run rather than trying to blame players for the loss.Trying to be cup half full rather than half empty. Struggling to do so.
It confirmed how much City means to me and all you guys. To be honest, if I die today, I will die a happy man seeing what we have achieved. I can not explain to myself, after a good career, a family, many blessings in my life why I feel so shit by losing a game . I guess deep down I know that it was the Rags to blame. And if I do die, there were be no fucking red worn at my funeral.

Spoken from the heart as a true blue.

Brilliant post.

Though it pains me to say it. It was worth losing (not necessarily to that lot) because I believe that unbeaten record was becoming a millstone around our neck. I hope now that it's gone we will return to more free flowing, enterprising football and pick up again. I am very concious of how many points we were behind that short of shit back on 2012.
Or it could have been used as an incentive to go out and do something that no one else has ever done

Our only weakness that worries me is not having a central Striker who can put the chances away. Should really of been dealt with in last transfer window. Or get Aguero back match fit soon as. Sterling, Jesus and Mahrez let an awfull lot of chances go begging between them.

just didnt see us turning that game around after going 1-0 down. I think that is one thing that slightly worries me, our ability to come from behind
I'd be far more bothered if we got used to coming from behind. The mere fact that we've not had to do it for so long is something that should fill you with joy - not (slight) worry.

Now the dust has settled, do the real blues who post regularly on here think that some of the posts have been acceptable? If they have been posted by blag fans or wum merchants then that's another thing, if not it's just plain wrong. If you have spat your dummy out because we have lost one game in 29 and you're a real blue hang your head in shame. If not then why are these imposters allowed to be embarrassing the club with the Utter shit they've been allowed to post. This could end up being the greatest season in our history and we are sounding like a bunch of pathetic entitled twats. I know this is a forum for discussion but some of the slagging off for our manager and greatest ever players has been staggering.

Just a knee jerk reaction to losing, even once every 4 months it's painful and losing to them doubly painful
