Paid for my ticket on 2 Jan, not received it, the ticket office saying it was sent over 2 weeks ago.
They are saying they won’t reissue it ‘because of the nature of the game’
So it looks like I won’t see the game even though I’ve paid for it

Apart from the strict ticket criteria, no wonder it hasn't sold out.

United away, Sheffield United away, PL home games, the FA Cup, the CL, and City are still charging £35 and £50 for Adult tickets in the CB and ES.

I wonder if City had no choice but to accept United's ticket prices, or if they came to a more expensive ticket compromise, as they knew the games wouldn't sell out, due to limiting away fans, and putting in strict ticket sales criteria?

    Now.

if they can't do duplicates then they should have used Special Delivery like they always do when that is the case - it is their responsibility to get the ticket to you, if not ask for a refund and buy another. They don't have a leg to stand on.

I've spoke to the ticket office twice and their stance is that they've posted it out, so it's no longer their responsibility. I've asked for a reissue, or to be loaded to my seasoncard or for a print at home ticket but they are saying they won't do it.
Didn't want to buy tickets which are still available as my son will be sat in the South stand on his own

You need to escalate it, it is very easy for the to cancel and reissue. They should not send by insecure means if they are not willing or able to.

    2109/20 terms

"1.7. The Club shall not have any liability to any Purchaser or Ticket Holder for any non-delivery or late delivery of any Tickets, documents or other materials dispatched by the Club to the Purchaser and/or Ticket Holder resulting from the actions, omissions, malfunctions or interruptions of any postal services or incomplete or inaccurate personal details or addresses provided to the Club. Should any such items purchased not arrive in the post by seven (7) days before the relevant Match, and the Club has not notified the Purchaser or Ticket Holder that the Tickets should be collected in person, the Purchaser should contact the Club immediately."

    2016/17 terms
"3.2. The Club shall not have any liability to any Purchaser or Seasoncard Holder for any non-delivery or late delivery of any Seasoncard, ticket, documents or other materials dispatched by the Club to the Purchaser and/or Seasoncard Holder resulting from the actions, omissions, malfunctions or interruptions of any postal services or incomplete or inaccurate personal details or Addresses provided to the Club. Should any such items purchased not arrive in the post before seven (7) days before the first Premier League Match or first Cup Match of the Season, the Purchaser should contact the Club immediately and such items shall be reissued at no extra charge."

Seems like the customer service is going backwards, unless yu contacted them more than 7 days before the game.

I contacted them last wednesday, so i did contact them 7 days before the match.
I think you are right about the customer service going backwards, it now seems that the ordinary and long standing fans are way down on their list

It is clearly not reasonable how they are acting, and against their terms which imply they will do something if you contact them. They can't contract liability out to a third part unreasonably under the Unfair Contract terms Act. Email these two: danny.wilson@mcfc.co.uk or lisa.eaton@mcfc.co.uk

The Club haven’t given me anything for free in 45 years, except the free night’s entertainment at the Etihad to celebrate the 2011 FA Win.

In contrast, I’ve found that the Official Supporters Club can’t do enough to help their members. They are top draw.
