Just done the paper review on SSN with Cu(n)stis from the Sun and they mentioned the parade. The legend that is Mike Wedderburn said that they'd heard reports that the crowd were nearly 2 deep in places. Brilliant!

Seen bigger crowds in the rain waiting for the floats to pass by on York Street, Heywood for the Charities Fete pmsl.

Normally i couldn't give a flying but for those rags that threw stones last week after our parade....pmsl, just PMSL!

Just had a picture message from a rag at work, he was holding a paper up with the words 200k turn up in the rain!
Which paper was this in..the Sun maybe?
Can anybody actully find out how many turned up? doesnt look that many from the pics etc!

funny thing is the rags that went said it was embarrassing turnout! Those who stayed at home think that 200k turned out!
