United (N) | FA Cup Final | Post-Match Thread

Session on at the Hilton in Watford tonight, but I'm not paying my lad Scott is haha

Look at it this way: we were far from our best, they were set up to frustrate us, they were happy to get out without being humiliated, and they are now a dispatched subplot on our ongoing narrative. What a time to be a blue.

Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester United. Who's next?
They were mostly set up to kick the ball as far as possible and hope to pick up scraps.
Without investment, and assuming other clubs don't have a brain fart season like this one, they'll sink again next year.
We weren't even at 80% today

Not our greatest performance, but with so much at stake, is it any wonder?

Added to that, the officiating was an absolute fucking disgrace; why wasn’t Cashemore-o shown at least a yellow card for his disgusting lunge early on?

And why wasn’t Fred’s challenge deemed a penalty? Even Rudolph thought it was a spot kick.

There were some fantastic contributions from the boys today; two brilliant goals from our captain, superb midfield play from Big John and Dave, excellent defending by Kyle, Manuel and Rúben, and great hold-up play from Erling.

From Ilkay's winner, I was counting down every minute, and almost every second and despite a few scares, we saw the game out relatively comfortably.

I’ve just seen a shot of John and Rúben together. What a great pair.

Now let’s go and finish the job next week, and shut those rag gobshites up for good.
That twat clattermiro getting the free kick after his shocking challenge was beyond blatant bias.
