Rooney's transfer request forced them to pay him double and others got more on the back of that as they had clauses in their contracts that guaranteed parity with the highest paid player. Rooney alone cost them about £5m a year extra in wages and 4 or 5 others got close to the same, so that's £25-30m more a year out of their cash-flow in this first full year of his new contract. The Glazers have been taking money out as well (£10m plus "consultancy fees").

When you take this into account, the repulsive scouse **** doesn't seem quite so hideous.
Not many realised the full impact of the fat scouse **** throwing his toys out of the pram. Fortunately my sources are top-notch!

I've mentioned it to rags since then, the impact Rooney's tantrum will have had but they struggle to see past the 'White Pele' shite.

Ferguson and Rooney are doing a stellar job at bringing that club to it's knees.

Indirectly we've had a hand in this too. If we hadn't have been waiting in the wings with a fat wallet and a cheeky smile, the rags wouldn't have been as quick to crumble. In fact they'd probably have sold him to the highest bidder.

The way they act differently if we're involved fills my heart with joy.

It reveals their complete and utter despair at the way events have unfolded. They have become the very thing that they used to (unfairly in the main) deride us for: bitter, obsessed, irrational and most of all, beaten.

It gladdens the heart to know that bacon face will spend his dotage an embittered and angry man, impotently railing against the perceived injustice done to him by MCFC.
I can't fucking wait.

Fergie might be a bitter old man but i don't think he is doting enough to think its city's fault what is happening at their place. He knows a lot of what is happening over there will fall back at his door if anybody would bother looking. The downturn in utds fiscal matters all came about by his own greed over breeding rights for that fucking horse when he knew himself he had no right to. He drove magnier and mcmanus from the club because of it letting good old uncle malc to ride in on a tidal wave of debt. That to me is one of the reasons fergie never complains about the ownership because he knows he had a lot of doing in they being there. Regrets a plenty now for him seeing us take the top spot and hopefully going on to a period of continued success but fergie has never backed away from a challenge and always builds a better team as seen with wenger and mourinho but this time he has no way to meet that challenge no money to buy the players to build his new team, stuck with what he has and like all managers of his age he seems to be losing his luster in the eyes of top stars who maybe know they aren't so much signing for fergie at utd but more so the next manager. Hindsight is a wonderful thing they say, if only he hadn't tried to fuck over his own bosses over a horse he had no rights to they would still be truely competing for the worlds best players instead of plying the same old no value line whilst still linking themselves to every big name that is rumored to be sold

Re: United thread 2012/13.

It is a sobering thought that the demise of the fortunes of the world's "greatest & most famous" club (note how I have not called them a football club) was caused through horse spunk. :-)

Re: United thread 2012/13.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted there has been no breakthrough in contract talks with Danny Welbeck.

The England striker has just 12 months remaining on his current deal at Old Trafford and the club are keen to tie him down to a longer deal.

However, talks have yet to produce an agreement despite the club's desire to sort out a deal before the start of the season.

When quizzed on the progress of discussions, Ferguson admitted he could not offer a significant update.

"It's difficult to say where we are with that at this moment in time," said the Scot.

and of course this is why we see the rumour that the rags have RVP, just to give welbeck a nudge to sign.

I couldn't have sold them to anyone better.
