Costa is the main target. If that fails the plan is to groom Draxler into a centre forward.
just out of interest, what's the plan if Costa goes to Chelsea, pogba goes to city and schalke refuse to sell or get a better offer from another club?

Short term.

Ramsey - Oxlade - Wilshere

Walcott / Gnabry Ozil
Giroud

Arteta and Rosicky will still leave I've been told.

Other transfer targets are Jackson Martinez, Luis Muriel and Jordy Clasie

FFS pal.can you talk about Arsenal on the Arsenal thread..you have your own thread by courtesy of us bluemooners..please use it..

Desperate for a United win, although I think they are way short of that.

A draw would be a fantastic result for us.

For me, we can break the back of Chelsea in these next couple of weeks if United upset the odds and we also do our job.

We could be four points clear of them going into Sunday.

If we can somehow win at Spurs and then beat Chelsea, that gap could be six or seven points very quickly.

Judging by Mourinho's comments, it's clear he knows this is the season right now.

C'mon United you dirty red bastards.
Just can't see it myself, Chelsea's midfield will mince the Rags and I don't see them having the firepower without Shrek. So it's a win for the Chavs I'm afraid, but we will have the not inconsiderable satisfaction of fewer and fewer Rag shirts around and being able to put an arm around the shoulders of weeping Rags, who have 'Had enough of football.'

Moyes has always been pretty decent against Chelsea teams when he was at Everton and Mourinho looked scared to play football last time out against them so hopefully a draw is on the cards

...and for some reason Chelsea, like Arsenal, still seem to have a fear of the rags judging by their performances at the swamp this season

Yeh but there isn't really any shame in losing to Chelsea for them now, I'd rather see Sunderland get a result midweek and end any chance they have of a trophy and then somebody like Fulham or palace give them a stuffing in the league. City first, humiliation for Rags second

United getting a stuffy draw against Chelsea would be best imo.
A win for Utd would generate an annoying media wankfest.
I quite like the wankfests over utd this year confident enough that moyes will fuck up again sooner rather that later and then wankfest dies and then repeat. The papers are mKing themselves look like dicks lauding utd at every chance because everybody can read the table and see straight through the bs. Really it's just an ego massage for utd fans and even then lots of them aren't buying it either

This will never happen but just imagine them falling through the league's as we and quite a few other clubs have done in the past few years, the swamp is sold and rented back to them to ease the financial struggles. They end up bumming around in league one for a few years until finally the administrator is called in, points are deducted and on the last day of the season they get relegated to league two. During the close season they get kicked out of the swamp due to been unable to pay the bills, which is then sold for redevelopment. They then have no where to go and in final fit of desperation end up merging with the turncoat's that are FC United......

I hope so, I'll definitely be going to Wembley but I'd prefer not to have the atmosphere poisoned again by the rags not-so-hard men.

I'll be surprised if the rags don't turn around a 2-1 deficit at Trafford especially if away goals count.

Hopefully they won't make it though!!!!!!!

This is an extract about the Swansea game from redmancunian which is an online rag fanzine.....

"Darren Fletcher: football genius....."

"Not to detract from Januzaj’s Man of the Match performance, but given United’s near-constant misfirings from central midfield this season, Fletcher’s performance alongside Michael Carrick was particularly encouraging. As United stepped up the pace at the beginning of the second half, the Scot pushed higher up the field behind Shinji Kagawa and provided a highly useful performance in an area that fans are desperate to see reinforced"

He's not a bad player for them, but ffs Fletcher and genius should never be in the same sentence.
