I love it when rags come on here and start shouting the odds, they was adamant that we would never win any trophy period, they felt quite safe in the knowledge that we would always be beneath them, ickle old citeh bless them.
Then we went and won the fa cup, demolished them in their own back yard and won the league......
This was a fuckin disaster of epic proportions for the rag hoardes, something that will stick in their throat forever.
That's why we get rag gobshites on here, they can't quite grasp the fact that we're still here.

So do you think FIFA and UEFA would be more bothered about trying to maintain a professional league structure in places like Spain, or stopping City from doing whatever it is you're doing, and you say United fans are self absorbed. The new TV deal will put you on par with every other English club in the transfer market, and will put the top 4 Premier League clubs in a position to spend more than all the clubs in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany etc. So when English clubs are still struggling in Europe even though everything is in our favour, are you still gonna play the FFP card?

You make some fair points, but also some absolute shite, because as your man said above, it was United who apparently started this mass money in English football. So if it wasn't for that, there'd be no Mansour, no Premier League, no Etihad Campus etc. Swings and roundabouts when you look at it.
We've also helped Bury FC a lot of times to survive, but we don't go on about it. Sounding like a scouser asking for recognition for something done 100 years ago, by someone you have no personal connection to.

I never said no-one other than Mansour had put money into City, just that you lot have had plenty of occasions during your history where you've been over reliant on benefactor investment, meaning the idea that you've only ever been self-funded is a crock of shite.

3 ocassions in our history, for a club formed in 1892, it's not too bad. Also at what point have I ever gone on about United being self-funded? For the past 20-25 years we have been able to make a profit every season due to gate receipts, sponsorship, selling players, prize money and TV revenue. That was never once disputed by me or any other Red, but Arsenal have also done the same, Crewe Alex have also done the same, plenty of clubs have done that. I also didn't call you or anyone else a liar once.

When you claimed that your spending spree in 1989, unprecedented at the time and despite only finishing 10th the previous season (1 place lower than City had just finished when Mansour bought us by the way), was with self-generated funds. So now you've been exposed as a blatant liar regarding that you now claim you never said such a thing and making a piss poor attempt to change your story. Another lie was your claim that you never bring out celebratory videos/DVDs of one-off games yet that was quickly debunked by myself and another poster.
