Your c**ty club were once again trying to rig the system in your own favour, this was not to protect any other club,your previous and subsequent actions show absolutely zip regard for anything other than your own self interest, and when it coincides with Liverpool's you hop straight into bed with them, the Arse and Spurs to get the same thing introduced in the UK (Portsmouth would have passed FFP).
