Nail on head bro.. what the fuck has happened to the legendary City sense of humour... stroooooof!!

Being reported this morning that Falcao is actually 30 not 28 as claimed. Doesn't make any difference if it really is a loan for one year. It does if United are in reality committed to buying him.

I was under the impression it is a compulsory buy as part of the loan deal... or did I dream it.

Wait, but they loaned him when he was 28, and he's now 30? So the loan deal is already up!

We don't know. "Optional" as United say could mean anything from genuinely optional to only being able to back out if China invades Jamaica on a Thursday in June.

And I saw a comment in the paper the other day about someone called James Wilson (?) from "United's famed youth academy"!

They're spinning the Falcao acquisition as not harming Wilson's chances but they see van Raspit (anag) as the one to make way for Wilson in a couple of years.
Some in the "other place" have pretty much consigned Percy to the history books already.

It's an old rumour resurfacing, I dont think there is any truth in it. He's been a registered footballer since the age of 13, so if he lied about his age then he chose an incredibly early age to start doing it. I think there was a fair amount of speculation when this first emerged that this was part of a blakcmail attempt by people back in Colombia, where he called their bluff. His mum put his birth certificate online as well to disprove the rumour.

Regardless of that, the rags intend to pay £50m+ for a 29 year old next summer, which is just bizarre.

Yep, it doesn't seem very likely at all. And you do get these kinds of rumours about players from time to time.

On Five Live's breakfast show, they were interviewing a financial guy over the economy. This bloke was the head man of the Red Knights bid for the rags a couple of years ago
At the end of the interview, as a utd fan, he was asked about utd's spending this summer. The guy, like most rags, then suffered from selective amnesia
His reply to the question was that it stank of desperation the way they have flashed the cash this summer in an attempt to get back into the top four/champs league, but then he said, it's totally the opposite from the last seven years where utd haven't bought anyone
I sat there in my car and started reeling them off...Nani, Anderson, Young, Valencia, RVP, DeGea

About 4 years ago I use to go on the MEN forum (when it was half decent) where I would spend many hours debating with our rag friends. I remember advising them on several occasions that if it was their intention to continue following their team, then they had better develop a sense of humour pronto!
Boy! Was I right!

Raggy Accounts published this week (early for the share issue to prevent issues like our famous PB detected for the last one.) Mogadon at the Telegraph reckons Moyes cost them £50m + poor transfers (I.e. Money lost on resale value of player).

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-united/11081393/Manchester-United-expected-to-announce-David-Moyes-disastrous-reign-cost-the-club-50-million.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/footba ... llion.html</a>

So if Utd don't reach 4th spot this season will Buthead cost them £100m+?
