surely it would be better if he is stays and the Rags spunk £43.5m on him in the summer

Over-rated, over the hill and 1 bad foul away from a career ending injury
I don't know about overrated, until he turned up at Old Trafford he was a tremendous player. Best headerer of the ball I've ever seen. The three performances against Madrid in the Copa final in the Bernebau, Bilbao in the EL final and Chelsea in the Super Cup were out of this world.

Agree mate. Some of his performances for Atletico Madrid were mind-blowing, but after seeing him playing for the Rags I'm not sure he's the player everybody expected. Plus he's pushing 30 (and unless I'm mistaken there have been questions asked about the accuracy of the birthdate on his passport?!?) and he's had a career threatening knee injury from which a player of his style never comes back from at the same level and is always more likely to happen again

I want them to waste fortunes on him. If they don't they'll spend it on someone else much younger and potentially much better

It does, but I've just spent an enjoyable couple of minuted filling itin.

Opportunity to plug BM as the best web site to find ManUre information.

Me too. An enjoyable post-script to an enjoyable result v Southampton.

Cnuts.

And me.

And to the question about how they could improve the rags' Website, I replied 'By deleting it completely'.
I suggested they should get one of those camera things like other clubs, and call it a Turtle Cam.
