Anyone else getting the feeling that LVG has been told to get to fuck by the Glazers as far as big spending goes? It's looking like after getting their fingers burned by last years random panic buys by the turtle they are back to minimal squad maintenance while the owners skim their annual dividend.

Its the rags S.O.P. - shout about big names = sell season tickets and keep you in the limelight = under spend / recruit and keep the Glazers funds up.

Always happened - last year was a blip based in the panic resulting from LVG aiming high but in delivering low he has made them resort to a "this will do" mentality - hence De Gea will be cashed in - Falcao was returned to sender and they will try and get a refund on Di Maria. Europa League/ Happy Shopper level club now this lot - long may it continue
