It's just perfect isn't it. The negotiations are delayed not because of transfer funds, ability, contract length or anything football related but because he endorses a different watch than they do

Yep, they're a club that knows the price of everything and the value of nothing.

I've an idea, if Chelsea own the rights to his name, he could simply change it.

I suggest Jose McJoseface.

A shithouse the way he treated that Eva. Joining a club with softarse fans who can't stand others bettering them. They're both welcome to eachother. They should change their name to crybaby utd as that is all we're going to hear from the eye gouger and the softarse fans when they don't get their own way.
 
How do people honestly think United will go under Mourinho?

I think that he will have to get some success in his first season and play reasonable football or he will lose his players and the manyoo crowd. By success I mean Champs League qualification and making the final of the FA or League cup.

If we and the other contender teams can keep them out of the top 4 and they do not play well then Maureen will come under enormous pressure and thinks will progress as they normally do for him.

Wenger will be motivated to knock him down and might be able to make his team play consistently well for once - pretty sure they will finish in the top 4.
Conte should get Chelsea playing well again and they have no European distractions so also strong contenders for the top 4.
If Klopp or Pochetennio (spelling) can motivate the dippers or spuds then they could take a place.
Assuming Pep can get us top 4 then United could have no champs league once again and hopefully continue in their downward spiral. They could even become the new Newcastle.

If he has spent loads of money, sidelined the youth players Van Gaal used and serves up dire football his goose will be cooked. Hopefully they will then turn to Giggs and the downfall will be complete.

Sadly, top 3 in the league, and at least a semifinal in a cup.

I expect a lot of money to be spent, but the big questions look to be whether De Gea stays, and what happens with Rooney the season after this (when he'll be slower and fatter).

The 'expert' predictions for next season should be fun. I expect a majority will have City to win the league, with a few picking Utd. Not sure anyone else will get any picks.

Not really. It only equates to two or three million a season over five years, which is how transfer payments are normally staggered
Those figures are dwarfed by the new PL TV deal
It all depends on how much money the "family" need to take out of yoonited to prop up the failing property business in the US and make loan payments to the creditors.
The failure to qualify for the CL again next season (which can immediately cost up to £30M) and the knock on of that which we believe is in the region of £20m lost a season from the Adidas kit deal
 
I think they will go for the Europa League and League Cup.

I think it will become obvious to Mourinho that he will not have his loyal foot soldiers at United like he has had at other clubs and as such will have have to sacrifice his 'win at all costs' approach.

The LC is good because any team can be in the quarters before they know it and the Europa League isn't that strong until the quarters by which time they will be struggling for the top 4

It was said when moyes finished 7th that the loan could be 'called' if trafford fail to qualify for cl two years on the trot...does that still apply???
 
If we and other clubs can keep them out of the top 4-7 in the next year or two, gradually their players particularly the young ones will want to move somewhere else and the star players of top clubs except the ones on the wrong end of 30 wont touch them with a barge pole. Only then will the downward spiral takes an inevitable spin.

Assigning maureen is a make or break deal, and judging from his previous performance that left chelsea in relegation touching distance before he left, he has it in him to break them beyond repair.

No. They renegotiated their loan. But no one knows where the money came from to pay the existing creditors as those accounts are secret
It's speculation, but the general feeling amongst financial experts is that they are paying huge interest on the money borrowed which is why 70m from not being in the CL will really hurt and why they've gone shit or bust on Mourinho
