Very interesting so they are basically a drone of a club ,happy to float about taking whatever they can grab.

My guess is that Sir Combover was the one person in the swamp hierarchy for whom risk to club reputation outweighed the chance of short term success. He was the most prescient in a boardroom devoid of strategic thinking.

While there were some warning signs, it wasn’t evident at the time that Maureen was a busted flush.

Sir Toutalot was easily persuaded once they offered to name a stand after him.

Rag mate of mine having some text banter before, who I was winding up, for never going, mentioned how he used to go to both the swamp & Maine Rd in the 70s & that Maine Rd was actually easier because he needed two busses to get to the swamp.
