United thread 2017/18

I see they are at it again on the Caf, they now have a thread about which 20 teams would they pick to form a premier league, as usual it very quickly gets into cups won, History, fan base etc...

They just can't help themselves, the only correct answer should be " the top 20 teams in the country at that specific point in time".

They spend 90% of their time looking at the past and 10% looking at the future and then wonder why they are in the mess they are in.
I expect we weren't one of the chosen 20. You know, with having no 'istree and all that.

I could never never imagine Pep having a rant about one of his own Players in front of the media.
He has more class in one toe than Maureen has ever had.
We say "mind the gap" when joshing about points difference. However the gap between Pep and Maureen grows bigger by the day. Not just in footballing terms but as human beings.

Pogba saying it would be a pleasure to play with Neymar, and he looks at Toure & Kev to improve his game....

Was waiting for this stuff, cuddling up to PSG that is. Raiola doesn't care about his clients, indeed it half looks like he chucks them into places not right for them so they want another move soon. For Pogba PSG is kind of the last chance saloon. Real Madrid will not touch him now which leaves PSG the closest thing to giving him what he and Raiola want, big fish, adulation, even more cash etc etc. Now Mourinho has been given assurances (hence him feeling bold enough to call every single player out now) Raiola will have been right on the phone to Pogba "you need to get the fuck out before your stock hits the floor". They will be discussions between Raiola and PSG about a possible move already. Raiola would be failing himself if he is not in their ear as we speak.

Neymar will likely leave and that will be fine with Pogba as he seems to like being the big deal at a club.

Since the player is getting more and more uncomfortable at Manchester United, especially due to both top brass and supporters questioning his value, French international midfielder Paul Pogba (25) might be leaving next summer, after Red Devils paid Juventus 108 million euros in summer 2016 for purchasing him. To this end, his agent, Mino Raiola, is fathoming the market and looking for options. A groundbreaking move back to Bianconeri can't be ruled out.

Over/under. Will the amount they lose be more or less than they lost on Di Maria? I'm sure there is some person out in Caf land that thinks they should be able to trade Pogba for Neymar straight across.

If I'm PSG, I wouldn't sell Neymar for anything less than double what they paid for him. Not that he's worth it, but they spent the money, risked FFP (though it looks like Mbape is likely what might push them out of bounds), and made the biggest signing in the history of sports. I just can't see any justifiable reason to let him walk without a huge payday.

Well Mourinho is a Mendes guy, and clearly with Mendes involvement in Wolves there is a fair bit of controversy, angst and rivalry going on between the agents and their clientele. It appears that the potential alleged possible insinuation of that tweet is that Mourinho and Mendes reckon that the Stellar managed Shaw and KSM managed Jones are perhaps not performing to the standards expected for non-footballing reasons.
That’s interesting because Stella and KSM have both been implicated with match fixing alongside with Woy, Moss and Murphy and have set their stall out to disrupt VAR so that it will be dropped
