Yes they looked good and the media are always going to talk them up when ever they get the opportunity but last season should be a warning for both clubs, we both started well and quickly faded away, Chelsea lost 2 of their first 6 games and went on an amazing run of games and won the title comfortably. Hopefully we can stay the course this season and learn from last season.

As has been mentioned, Maureen doesn't like to rotate, he likes to pick the same eleven for pretty much every game: and this will tell in the long-run. Injuries and suspensions (should any ref have the balls to actually apply the laws of the game to that shower of bowel matter) inevitably happen over the course of a long and gruelling season, plus they'll have C.L. to consider. I just don't think they have the depth in squad to go the distance.
And all this aside, Peggy is always teetering on the brink of one emotional outburst or another, it'll only take a couple of bad performances/results, and the odd decision to go against him to see him lose the plot - after all, he does have a history of mental instabilities.

I don't just say this because I'm wearing blue-tinted spec's, I truthfully do not buy into the hype surrounding the rags, never have, never will. Even without additions Spuds look a bloody sight better than the vermin, and they (the rags) are nowhere near our level. Obviously there's a long way to go and there's 'many a slip 'tween cup and lip', I predict the rags will make 6th place their own berth...again.

If my memory is correct, they won their first game under Moyes 4-0, away to Swansea I think. Lets hope this season pans out as well as that one did for them.

If anyone's interested, one of the MAIN articles on the Mirror Football page is the spectacle that is rag players arriving for training in preparation for the Galactico fixture on Sunday against Swansea. They have photos of pretty much every player arriving in their swanky cars.

You have to go to pretty much the bottom of the page to see anything City related, like the £60m impending bid for Sanchez. Clearly though, people would rather see what kind of car Jessy Lingard has got.

Pricks.

Lingard is referring to himself as 'JLingz' these days.

More ****ish by the day this mob.

Scum.

Corrected for you. ; )

Concord would be more apt.

'Unleashed by United?'
Wait until they play any of the top 6, which isn't until mid October, I think, we'll see how long Peg's leash is.

Much as i loathe the rags, they'll be right up there for the title. The spine of the team De Gea, Bailly, Matic, Pogba and Lukaku is pretty powerful. They will steam roller a lot of teams this season, just hope we can just pip them to the title.

Oh God, please not again. I am getting old now and my poor heart is still recovering from the last time.

Mourice is, if nothing else, pragmatic. The Scum will play boring hugely defensive football all year long.

And this year, they have enough talent that they won't draw nearly so often as they did last year - they'll grind out results and accumulate points.

The Scum are our biggest contenders for the title. The Scum won't slip up - so it's crucial that we don't drop any unnecessary points.
