Got to love his insistence on attacking the players who are doing alright (relatively), while completely ignoring his chosen lieutenants, no matter how shit they've been. Matic is becoming the new Ivanovic, getting games despite being terrible every game, while everyone around him gets dropped, same for Lukaku, Young and Smalling. That's sure to go down well in the dressing room.

Ironically I'm sure I've seen a headline somewhere today saying he has averted a changing room rebellion. Maybe this is him trying to change that view

Martial has dragged him through the last few games. Surprised he’s hanging him out to dry, well not overly surprised really. The best but is he does just about enough to stay before going through a bad spell and talking shit like this.

He really doesnt like him considering that the guy is banging goals in, whats Jose's logic here. I cant think of one rag player that is playing well apart from Martial but the guy gets continually hammered in the media off Jose.

tbh I dont think he's wrong, he's just not adapted himself to managing this new type of footballer who's grown up in the environment of privilege - he obviously resents it and is sounding more of a dinosaur each passing week.
What's more bizarre is how he's voicing his opinions. Saying it to your backroom and playing staff in private is fine but to a journalist with the players finding out about it in the press can only kill the club from the inside out.
