Truely epic that they cannot now be sold off to new owners, with cash to waste due to rules THEY insisted were put in place!
In my current state I’m not quite sure if this is true or not, or how it works, suffice to say that if true great, and if not...Truely epic that they cannot now be sold off to new owners, with cash to waste due to rules THEY insisted were put in place!
I can kind of get what he's trying to say here. I've said it before, but growing up, we were booted out onto the street and only allowed back in at food time.Jose bigging his players up again

Back then, a football was gold, it was all we did and there was plenty of lads together to play.
If you were called in (for food), you couldn't get the stuff down your neck quick enough to get back out.
You also got used to 'streetlife'.
Fast forward to today, I have a 10 year old. Although he plays in an organised team and all that, he's a softy.
Where we weren't allowed into the house, today, their not allowed out!
So Jose, you are correct, today's young footballers are spoilt softies, who've probably never needed to scrap, and don't know what it's like to battle hard.
My childhood :)
Fucking brilliantI moved into my current house about 6 years ago. The next door neighbours lad was about 16 then, a big rag (i.e. never shut up about them but never went) On and on he went about how they were btter than us, anyway, he met a girl (I know a real one !) and moved away. The other day I saw his mam and asked her how he was taking the Derby defeat, apparently he is not that interested in football anymore so she didnt know.

Francis Lee said years ago that you don't bring up tough kids in houses with central heating.I can kind of get what he's trying to say here. I've said it before, but growing up, we were booted out onto the street and only allowed back in at food time.
