I think he deserves his own appreciation thread. It's not very often we credit a rag.
The real puzzle is how this this living and breathing calamity ever amassed the England caps he has. And without checking up it must be in the region of double figures, FFS!
The despotic pisscan was correct when he said he could go on to be a rag legend.

Intrigued I've just at checked, only 21 behind Colin the King. I know Colin without being half crippled by Buchan would have had double his 48 but Phil the Face still has way too many.The real puzzle is how this this living and breathing calamity ever amassed the England caps he has. And without checking up it must be in the region of double figures, FFS!

Probably one of the worst periods in my life. I was young and foolish and wanted to kill that rag bastard for what he did...now I'm old and foolish and yet I STILL want to kill him.

The career of Phil Jones is a complete mystery. Even a lot of United fans accept that he is essentially a championship level player. Mind you the fact that Danny Mills got England caps says it all.

Phil has suffered from managers failing to find his best position. Unfortunately he is cramp in all the ones he had tried so far. Maybe a late developer.
