I feel sorry for OGS. And there are definitely Utd fans I know who I will genuinely commiserate with. They have many decent fans in stark stark contrast to LFC.
You’ll catch a few with that Marvin. You enjoy commiserating with your rag mates if you can find them under their rocks.

It comes to something when you start to feel sorry for Utd players, coach and fans.
I want to see them relegated and then relegated again. This won't happen I know because they will always spend their way to safety and mediocrity. Just remember that yearly ticker then you soon buck out of this trance Marvin.

I used to think I'd take Martial and Rashford in our squad but Martial looks asleep and I don't think Rashford has improved since he megged Demichelis. For the first time I can remember they haven't got a single player who I would want at City

Maybe Shaw on recent-ish form. But you'd think with a body type like his he might no maintain that level for too long.

Pogba is probably talented enough to play for us but I can't imagine Pep would put up with his act for very long.

The appointment of Solskjaer, is imo, a perfect storm to finish after wave after wave of wonderful incompetence.

It was happening during Ferguson's tenure. Them winning the title, due to Mancini/City self harming, was on the back of signing an ageing sicknote, to score them the goals. It masked a serious decline in the quality of Utd's planning & spending, which had been going on for some years.

That was mainly down to them being such a bunch of big headed, loud mouthed, fucking ****s. Ferguson's "not in my lifetime" comment, is all the evidence needed. The media all chuckled at that & actually believed it. The way they allowed City to take Tevez, arrogantly believing they could just sign him up when they pleased, as they are ' Manchester Utd'.

When, out of the country, my rag mate told me one morning, they had given Moyes the job, I pissed my fucking sides laughing. He's going: "What ??!!" "I think he'll do a good job" Pissed my sides again.

Fellaini.

When they brought in LVG, much as I enjoyed the results & the pisstaking, I thought the penny had dropped & he was the first step towards Utd modernising their football, rebuild the youth setup from sprinting & lumping to pass & move, teach the first team to play in a passing style for a couple of years, hand over to a top, young, manager & throw the chequebook at it, whilst FFP shits on us.

Again poor signings & sacked.

Obvious that they had no plan, when that then turns into Mourinho. A 3 year shit or bust merchant who doesn't give a fuck about building anything.

Instead of building a team, ridiculous sums of money thrown at players, almost to show off.

So they realise this is no way to go about it, fire him & bring in a caretaker, to see out the season whilst they recruit a serious manager, to rebuild the club, doing what they do best, like they did in the past: pushing up wages & transfer fees whilst their rivals are limited in spending.

Instead, they give the caretaker, the fucking job.

The rags have been found out, simple as that, all this transition bollocks and not enough money spent is fuckin laughable ... Look at their team, can you see the likes of Jones, Lingard Smalling, Shaw, Fred, Lindeloff et al getting anywhere near the likes of Stoke, never mind a top 6 club...
They have given new contracts to most of these donkeys which demonstrates beyond doubt, their complete and utter lack of ambition... They are a generation behind us and I'm fucking loving and living it..... Karma is such a wonderful thing innit....

From the Caff only 4 weeks ago.....

“From the first day I arrived, I felt at home at this special club,” said Solskjær. “It was an honour to be a Manchester United player, and then to start my coaching career here. The last few months have been a fantastic experience and I want to thank all of the coaches, players and staff for the work we’ve done so far. This is the job that I always dreamed of doing and I’m beyond excited to have the chance to lead the club long-term and hopefully deliver the continued success that our amazing fans deserve.”
