I actually get what Tom is trying to say. Most days i actually feel the same, especially as i have plenty of rag mates who have generally been pretty reserved even in our dark days.
But then there are "those" days where we lose and they win. Then bang, twitter and facebook is full of them biggin it up. It is like they have just been waiting to dish the shit out.
Even the slightest glimmer of a return to the glory days is all that is needed for the arrogance and demeaning comments to flow out.
So fuck em. Give to them at every opportunity. Because i can tell you now, being the "bigger man" will mean nothing to them if they ever do sort themselves out...

Included such gems as they should go to the Lake District on retreat and have ‘eloquent’ fans tell the players where they were going wrong and what it means to play for United. He suggested Eric pop in of an afternoon and give a training session and finished with saying summat like I’d rather us go down than carry on playing shite football. It was classic and epitomises the type of dickhead fan @malg correctly states follows their club

I think your always better to be classy. Most of my United fans are ok, they see what is happening and accept City are by far the better team now. I wish I knew more of the other ones you see on social media. We all know the type claiming Lakuku is better than Aguero one week and worse than Heskey the next. We all know he’s out of form, not that bad but certainly not anywhere near Aguero level.

There highlights last season City losing to Wigan, the derby at our place, Liverpool losing to Madrid. That is genuinely it! There season was sh1te no matter how they choose to describe, they know it and we know it. The fact this is when we hear from them is they had very little else to say.

I enjoy every defeat!!
