No way were there 62,000 there. That represents 83% of capacity and there were more than 17% empties. It looks like they've been giving out thousands of free tickets again (17,500 to schools, universities and charities was mentioned for the Astana game) and counted them all in the 'official' attendance even though most of them remained unused. The ticketing website Isiton have been offering luxury executive packages for the rags' Europa League games at £39 each, a discount on the rags' retail price of almost 50%. They'll have made a profit on these so the club must have sold them to Isiton for peanuts.
