I took my dad and my two lads to Manchester Crem. As usual after we had visited my mum we went next door to Southern Cemetery to look at the graves of people dad had known and other people including Sir Matt Busby.
My eldest then aged about 5 rushed up and started jumping on the red scarves on the plot and headstone. We had to stop him pretty sharpish. He did not understand about respect for the dead but having spoken to him, l have to admit a sense of pride at his reaction to red scarves.

In these modern times, when there’s news aplenty about problems with society, kids today and the decline in parenting, it’s always nice to see a post like this that shows there are still people out there who know how to bring their kids up the right way.

Woodward makes money for the Glazers and as long as they get their dividends the cogs will keep turning in this most predictable way. All they need is top 4 and this is the path of least resistance for them.. The only mugs in this charade are the supporters..
