I took my dad and my two lads to Manchester Crem. As usual after we had visited my mum we went next door to Southern Cemetery to look at the graves of people dad had known and other people including Sir Matt Busby.
My eldest then aged about 5 rushed up and started jumping on the red scarves on the plot and headstone. We had to stop him pretty sharpish. He did not understand about respect for the dead but having spoken to him, l have to admit a sense of pride at his reaction to red scarves.
In these modern times, when there’s news aplenty about problems with society, kids today and the decline in parenting, it’s always nice to see a post like this that shows there are still people out there who know how to bring their kids up the right way.

Top work fella.

The Fletcher appointment is astounding. Same as the dippers decades ago, they’ve bought into their own myth at expense of running a business, and it’s all jobs for the boys.

Meanwhile, we put in a management team with a history of success and they appoint the most successful club manager of all time.

The results on both sides are totally and utterly predictable.
Are Fletcher's twin sons still at our Academy? They were in the under 11's 3 years ago

Edit:
Answering my own question here and yes they are still at City!

The wife's a rag along with all her family....she just said "you watching the footy later"?
I said "might do,who you playing"?
She said "it's England you dickhead"
I said "oh right....i'm getting mixed up with it being a Thursday"

WHOOOOOSH.
Almost wish I knew a rag who'd talk to me so I could use that.

Their fans lap it up and their media machine celebrate it for a zillion clicks. Woodward makes money for the Glazers and as long as they get their dividends the cogs will keep turning in this most predictable way. All they need is top 4 and this is the path of least resistance for them.. The only mugs in this charade are the supporters..

I see the entitlement continues into the ladies game...ragglets manager moaning they're not on tv for the first ever game at the swamp.

Not going to post a link (bbc)
