So it seems to me events at Old Trafford have set a dangerous new precedent.
This protest wasn’t against the “Super League” which right now is pretty much dead in the water ( for the time being at least)
No, this protest is against the Glazers ownership of the club which as we all know Utd fans have never approved of.
Recent events have just galvanised the supporters resolve against them.
But IMO it is not acceptable for fans to bring Premier League fixtures to a stand still just because fans don’t approve of their owners. If this precedent is acceptable we will have matches being cancelled every week by Xmas as relegation threatened clubs demand their chairman leaves their club. what is the difference between Utd fans wanting Glazers out to Geordies demanding Ashly leaves Newcastle.
