Your pretty much hit the Mark there.

I think Leicester will try to move away from being a counter attacking team in the future.
But Utd are stuck with their system until they get a manager who can overhaul the squad. And nobody wants that job.
Thanks and yeah I agree. Leicester play that way to maximise vardys strengths. They have other players who are good at building play. Ole knows nothing other than counter attack, because of fergusons influence.

Yeah sanchez, Falcao and di Maria have had a mini revival but are nowhere near the players they were before they joined united. Forlan became a far better player after he left them but that was two decades ago.
Strange one Forlan.
The piss can actually wished him well and stated that he was a great footballer. He went on to say that he would show people how good he really was.

I think he just didn’t fit the style at Utd.

He was a great player and they knew it and they still let him go.

Yeah ferguson got that comment right. For villarreal, atletico and Uruguay he became a great player. Remember his great partnership with your own Sergio?

I had never even heard of aguero.
I asked my son as he was ready to come on against Swansea for his debut.
“Is this boy any good”
He said “ he’s mint”
I copped for some flak that night.

What a début that was,

Two goals and an assist. He only got better from then on.

I never bothered with European leagues.
I don’t know too much about foreign players now.
I wait till the rock up at city!!!
Fair enough mate, tbh la liga and serie a are worse than they were 10 years ago and 25 years ago respectively

I would go to a game in Italy or Spain. Anywhere if I was there already and a game was on.
I just wouldn’t turn the tv over to watch one. Unless an ex city player was playing.

I had never heard of Bernardo until the Monaco game.
How he gets mentioned in the same breath as pogba is beyond me.

I wouldn’t worry too much mate, I must have watched every shit to average game Sergio played for Athletico, never saw him have a good game, and whilst you could see the odd glimpse of brilliance, my thoughts were “promises a lot, but rarely delivers”.
Maybe it was an age thing, or the way Athletico set up and played, or all three, but I never thought he would go on to consistently become the player he is/was and the best striker we’ve ever had.
