How good is Erik Ten Hag ?

I’d imagine he’ll be the best manager in the World. Until he’s not. Rinse & repeat.

Heard he’s being criticised for not being able to sort a defence or defend set pieces.

United will be forever shite till they wake up to their past. GPC was a horrible bully, he had by far the biggest budget and was mainly opposed by shite managers at poorly ran club. Then aided and abetted by an PL & FA desperate for their cash cow to succeed, that’s without BSKYB’s desperation for them to be at the very top.

They refuse to believe this was the case. Yet can’t understand why they’re still so far off.
They took that success for granted and didn’t invest in the future. They just thought nothing would change.

They’re now a terribly ran club, competing against much better clubs, with much better strategic visions & far superior fans.

Most of them are still stuck somewhere between City & Chelsea are cheating, the Glazers and an FA/PL love in for Liverpool.

Self realisation is not their strong point.

I'm calling bullshit about these ten Hag reports.
Have we any Dutch blues that can shed any light ?
Hag would have had to get the permission of Ajax to speak to the rags. Surely Ajax would ask how committed he was to them, if he doesn't get the gig they are stuck with a manager who wanted to leave.
Bearing in mind it's an international break, this has all the hall marks of rag propaganda.
All I'm saying is the same day their egotistical supporters club kicks off about the Gnome going back ignoring the promise to give fans some boardroom power. This story appears to distract the average rag.

I'm sure Mr Hag will have had a call from Tactical Turtle on how the club is really run if there's any truth in this.

The stand out stat for me is they have won the league under only three managers ever. They struck lucky with Sky, CO92 and Ferguson aligning. They could be like this for years to come. Fingers crossed.

You've got that right.

Truth be told he should be interviewing them.
A very basic way of manager doing due diligence on a potential new club as suggested by one of the social media clunts. No need for any political crap.
He looks round the training ground, the crumbling stadium, the dressing room and the team spirit of the so called players and says 'Thank you but no thank you' and then looks wistfully at the Etihad complex on his way to the airport and dials Pep on his mobile.

Yep. Something I have been saying for 30 years or so. You watch some of them old clips when he strides onto the pitch during the game to scream abuse at the ref, and of course gets away with it. The way Keane and Scholes were given free reign to kick fuck out of any opposition player and the Sky 'pundits' were encouraging it (both Richard Keys and Andy Gray screaming jubilantly: "Roy's Back!").

One law for the verminous rags and another for the rest of the Premiership - mostly.
