Sanchez, maguire and Fred I don’t think would have been a success at city. I think we dodged very expensive bullets with those three.

Pogba I reckon could have done very well at city but that ship has since long sailed. I think there is an amazing player in there but it’s been wasted.

Anyway I don’t want to be seen as praising a United player too much as I’m sure the rag jibes will soon follow. And like gonorrhoea that shit will follow me around.

Dirty bastard.

Definitely agree about those three, maybe Sanchez could have done a job in getting a few goals but he was never worth the wages the rags wasted on him. The other two are shit, I’m glad we didn’t try harder to get them. From their point of view they must look with envy at what our players have won though, same with Pogba, though I‘m not sure how he’d have fitted into our system. His best position seems to be in social media rather than a football pitch.

As long as it's not the next generation's Pep then I couldn't give a rats pitoot either.
But in the grand scheme of things it wouldn't matter if Pep himself was there.
They don't buy players to fit a system, they buy them for media clicks.
Woody or his replacement wouldn't ask Pep who he wanted. Pep would be never have taken pr37 so if forced, he would gave walked.
Pep would also demand decent training facilities and the removal of the gpc.
So whether it is Pep, son of Pep, clone of Pep or Postman Pep, he would not be successful at the swamp because with them it is always short-term planning.

When you look at City's equivalent of Pogba, De Bruyne, they are poles apart.
KDB is chasing, tackling, as well as producing his expected magic. Pogba does none of that.
No doubt he is a talented player, but in the Premier League you can't play effectively with a straggler.
He shone in Italy, as it is a slower pace; not over here.
Wouldn't last two minutes under Pep for me

Because I think from reading his latter article he had regretted his choice and made a massive mistake in where his football career went.

I know he’s an adult and no one made him sign for United and yes I know he’s made millions out of it but I just feel a bit for him as he has been quite candid in that he has suffered depression etc. I’m not asking anyone to share my view just that to me he doesn’t come across as the usual arrogant gobshite you normally associate with that lot.

Footballers have short careers and it looks like his prime years have been a big mistake by his own admission.
And if he earns (reputedly) around £300K per week, it means he will have "earned" more in 2 weeks than I did in my 40 year working career, mainly as a Civil Servant.
Let that sink in.

The old short career excuse ran out decades ago, I'm not falling for Pogbas slant on life and I can't/wont empathise with someone who can get help for anything with the money he earns, this is all nonsense.

Imagine working on say a production line where you make cardboard boxes or pack toothpaste and you even have to work 12 hour days just to pay the rent, he needs a dose of reality in his life.
