Just watched the Keane after-match rant. As much as I loved singing "Ole's at the Wheel" yesterday, the lyrics could be subtituted by Keanes insightful words "Bluffers on the Bus".

Value for money
8.5m for Mata (33) who isn’t injured, but doesn’t even make the squad.

I remember back in the dark days when City had a massively bloated squad of 50+ (Iirc) players, and the new manager (can’t remember which one of the many!), took 1st day training and said something like ‘they just keep coming and coming from over the crest of the hill’.

Just reminds me of (one of) the similarities.

Just watched the post match conversations. Absolutely wonderful with them all arguing amongst themselves.
Keane at his viscous best ripping into Fred, Maguire and Wan-Bassika.
Ole absolutely shell shocked in his interview. The only disappointment was that Neville didn’t get as upset as usual.
Ole must stay.
Also noticed that we didn’t see the camera on Fergie in the stands

If and when they do eventually get rid of the Norwegian paperboy I really don't think it'll matter who they bring in to replace him until they sort their larger problems out first. Until they sort out their recruitment policy (do they even have one?) and stop that money man from making the football decisions they will keep making the same mistakes over and over again. How long ago was it supposed to be that Woodward was stepping down? They need a proper director of football and institute a clear plan of what areas of the pitch they need to prioritise rather than just buying big name charlie's in order to sell shirts.

Long may Woodward reign!

The best part is that it doesn't matter who the manager is. They thought Moyes was the problem, then it was Van Gaal was the problem, then it was Mourinho and now it is Ole. They have spent several hundred million on players, wages and pay offs and still nothing has changed.

The whole club needs to be rebuilt and no one in the world has the power to do that. It requires a whole system change like we had with Txiki and Ferran at City and they won't do that as they think they just need to get in a new person on the touchline.

Long may it continue.
