When it became clear that we had overtaken them (along with all other clubs) in playing style, and winning things.
That’s when the GPC, had his cards stamped, and was called to a place beyond this life, he was on his way out, on his last breath, not just knocking on heavens door, but trying to smash the fucker down!
Then came along the medical staff who saved his life. They worked night and day under such pressure. For many days it was touch and go if he would pull through. But the specialist’s didn’t just want him to pull through, they wanted him to make a full recovery.
We all know what happened, a miracle some might say.
On leaving hospital the GPC thanked the specialist for giving him his life back, to which the Dr replied, if it had been any other surgeon I can tell you with 100% certainty you would have died, but luck for you I’m a Manchester City supporter and there’s no way you were getting off that lightly!
