From what I was told, it didn’t sound like it was in that context bud

Could well be but i got told a couple of months ago that he'd gone under and was stepping back from it all.
He just seemed to disappear all of a sudden.

Ah fair enough lads. Like has been said already, lets hope the lad comes through the other side of it. I've got loved ones effected by mental health troubles and its a horrible thing to see, never mind endure.

Are you sure this isn't some sort of crossed wires and they were talking about him rehabbing after an injury?

Something fairly serious has definitely gone on. From the way it's been talked around on a few of the football podcasts, and the complete lack of negative press coverage you'd normally see when a 72m signing walks off for half a season, I think the press know but it hasn't leaked - which makes me think serious depression/breakdown is more likely than drugs.

United have basically said he's out indefinitely, under no pressure to return. After speaking with ten Hag, he went for 3 months to the Netherlands just to train with a coach ten Hag knows. He didn't even go to United's winter training over the world cup.

Anyway I hope he's OK, and ten Hag seems like a coach who'll look after him and build him back up.

His last game was at Chelsea in late October.
It's good that it has been kept in house in an age where social media and camera phones usually eek out the truth in a story.

The only suggestion of mental health issues I've seen have been on the last few pages of this thread.
If he has mental health issues I hope he makes a full recovery as I do if he fell whilst trying to climb out of a toilet window.

And isn’t that Pogba figure about £27m or so short of what they actually paid out for him?
