I'd say he is decent.

Problem for them is the Prem is the top league at the moment and 'decent' does nothing but take you backwards.

Fine if that's how you see him.

I haven't seen anything to demonstrate that he is decent, because his " success " last season was heavily tainted by the assistance they got from PiGMOL. Shit performances were made into wins due to unfair influence most of the time.

He is just another example imo of a rag manager being over-hyped and praised for achieving very little of substance. I didn't see many players he improved.

A top 4 place was needed last year, and the powers that be ensured that it was achieved.

Let him demonstrate that when they don't get different treatment to others.

I don't think he's decent. I do think he's widely overrated simply because of who he's managing. If he were at any other Prem club the media would have had him crucified by now. The money he's spent, the help they've been given thanks to pgmol, the out-dated style of football - nope, not decent at all in my view. He's just a foreign Sean Dyche, without the gravelly voice.

I'm basing him being decent on Ajax and a decent reputation from over there. Not seen much of it at united tbh, and what he did at Ajax wasn't really exceptional.

The problem for him is that Pep's the best ever. Klopp is up there as one of the best around, Arteta's promising and learnt from the best, De Zerbi looks like he can do great things and Pochettino is good.

That's before you get to Emery who did great at Sevilla and Postecoglou who did great at Celtic, Howe who's doing well and Moyes who seems to have found his niche again.

Oh and Vinny who turned Burnley away from 1980s hoofball to the Championship title just like that too.

I'm sure I've missed some.

Point being there are a lot of *very* good managers in the Premier League. If you dont have one, you fall behind. That's what we're seeing now with united. And long may it continue.

The one thing I hope is that De Zerbi has enough sense to turn them down when they inevitably go after him when it gets to somewhere like March. He needs to stay with Brighton until Pep says he's had enough of winning...

Surely seeing the fuck-ups that the rags management regularly and consistently oversee will be sufficient to persuade De Zerbi that he would be totally mad to accept any offer from that shitshow under any circumstances or amounts of money promised.

Some comedy gold on another forum;

"the 4-3 loss feels like a moral victory for me take away the gk howler, and the stupid handball rule and we won 3-2"

So basically apart from what happened, and the rules, United won!
That's like the stupid fuckers claiming that they won the second half of the Etihad derby, even though we took off five of our best players because we had bigger fish to fry.

Screamed of game management.
That was the only way Utd would compete.
If it was a decider. Then Bayern would have been out of sight at half time.

I thought Kane was really good. Left gaps and created space for Sane and the others.
His passing was shocking at times though.
For all their problems and fuck ups 4-3 is not a bad result to bring back to o/t. Watch the scrawny gits get the win...

Straw clutching at it's finest !
Looks like "Operation Polish Turd" is in full flow on Sad Cafe and with the Rag shills in the media.
They don't realise that they're deluding themselves by trying to convince themselves that they're not as shit as they are.

Oh dear what a travesty, after all the fucking help the cunts get, it is pure karma !
Was in Vincent’s bar in Benidorm while this was on with the lads(just got home) and we cheered and pissed ourselves when their keeper jumped over Sanes weak effort Table in front of us about 12 of em mixed ages one hag glared at us an screamed why you supporting fkin Bayern , cmon yoonited Just looked an laughed some more
