United's Corrupt Points Tally.. +4

Yes everybody can see whats going on with the rags, and we discuss it on here and i am sure other team forums discuss it as well, we discuss it at work ,down the pub etc, but that alone doesnt stop the corruption. Managers moan about it then accept the pigmol apology and do nothing about it either, probably because the directors dont want to miss out on the gravy train of the prem so what do we do ?
Well.

The good news is we don't have to do anything.

This has been going on for years. It doesn't matter. The rags have got about as much chance of winning another premier league title as they had in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019.... you see where I'm going with this?

The officials can only do so much for the rags. It seems to me that keeping them relevant is about as good as its going to get for them.

The thing with that though is relevance doesn't sell duvet covers and lampshades so it's all going to fizzle out for the rags in the near future.

So don't worry. There's nothing for us to do except sit back and enjoy their slow and inevitable demise.

The rags were instrumental in the setting up of the PL hand in hand with Sky and the setting of self- benefiting rules about gate receipts etc.and are still seen as very important to its existence in terms of profile because of the huge fan-base that their position created.
As yet they still have a highly visible presence in world football, and even quite recently the former ceo of the PL ,Richard scudamore, I think, said that a strong Utd was ‘good for the product (PL)
In other words they create wealth and profile for them.
This must be protected.
Thanks for the detailed explanation.
I knew them sneaky twats were up to something

Yea but thats not really the answer though is it, relying on the officials to only do so much ,and hoping it all fizzles out doesnt change the fact that the scum have got 4 points from decisions from the officials only doing so much so far! The game in the UK is corrupt .

The Premier league will strain every sinew to get the Rags back challenging for the title , the first three games have proven that , quite sure PGMOL are put under pressure to favour the Rag bastards , they shouldnt have any points on the board Wolves & Forest both should have beaten them at the Swamp.
Richard Masters is just a puppet who obeys what the Rags , Dippers and the Goons owners want ,its f*cking corrupt to the core and they have the cheek to charge us with 105 ficticious charges to please their paymasters.

And in other news, water is wet :)

Exactly because without the help of the corrupt cunts @ PiGMOL, the rags would be way down towards the bottom of the PL.

Two assisted home wins against teams who are very likely to be in a relegation battle this year.

They used to at least try and hide it. Now they just don't. That rag goal vs us at the swamp last season was a defining moment.

They know that they can do whatever they want to secure the outcome that suits. So it will only get worse.

The rags will continue to be shit. But their results will suggest otherwise.

This is bang on.
I've always called it out that they "gain" 10-15 extra points at season to their true tally.
The question that needs seriously answering is why?
To quote Pep, "This is Old Trafford."

I realise we've already got a united thread and a VAR thread but this particular issue can get lost amongst the general discussion in those threads.

I think it would be useful to have a specific thread where we can keep an accurate tally of the points awarded to united over the course of the season as a direct result of "contentious" decisions by the onfield officials and VAR.

Not so much a discussion thread and not somewhere to highlight the constant, insidious low level favouritism that they receive week in week out, just somewhere to keep a record of the actual game changing and point gifting decisions that they benefit from on a weekly basis.

So to begin:-

- Mon 14 Aug Scum v Wolves. Failure to award a blatant penalty to Wolves. +2 corrupt points
Can you keep the corrupt points tally in the thread title. I believe that is plus 4 points @jacko74

It will only change when there is something that represents a higher commercial value to the Premier League than the rags.

tbh I didnt see todays decisions as corrupt in the extreme way utd have been getting them. It was technically a pen. It was technically last man pulling him down. Can argue this or that but its not as fucked up as the Onanna or Rashford calls.

The defender pulled out and Rashdive initiated the tiniest amount of contact and threw himself to the ground. 100% dive
