So how do you mean it’s been successful in Scandinavia?
Apologies I will correct accordingly. Also looking at various reports from different sources it's being argued both a success and failure depending on the bias' of the articles.
 
Because inflation would rise with everyone having more money and that would seriously eat into the UBI that an unemployed person receives, meaning you'd have to constantly raise the UBI, costing more and more every year.

The system right now largely avoids spiralling inflation and reduces inequality by bridging the gap between those working and those not working.
A bit like the triple lock pensions
