A brilliant, brilliant album. But nowhere near as good as Closer.



Had no idea. I’m looking at selling my old vinyl. This may help me do it!

We were taking a break in Keswick and stopped for drink. Next door was a shop with two boxes of second hand vinyl.
They were in a shocking state, tattered covers and the like, but they were asking between £8 and £12 for them!

I find it’s a proper underrated album locally. In fact, joy division are underrated locally.

Everyone bangs on about the stone rises or oasis where unknown pleasures pisses all over anything either have ever done.

Nobody I know 40 or younger would say it’s better than definitely maybe or the stone roses.
