All I read about on Twitter after a game that Verratti is involved in is how amazing he is. In a lot of games I don't quite see what the fuss is about. No doubt he's a good player but think he's a bit over rated. I thought the same of Thiago last year when everyone was labelling him the best midfielder in the world. Was he not always a sub on the great Barca and Spain sides?

Anyone else have a player who they think similar of.

Pogbad.

I think it became trendy to call Pirlo a great when he was just a very good player.

The nearer it got to Michael Carrick's retirement, the more his legendary status seemed to grow. It was as if the media didn't want to go balls deep too soon in case people realised he wasn't actually the legend they wanted him to be portrayed as.

David Silva never really did much in the Champions League
