Just wanting to put this on record and state that if Tevez doesn't go in January I won't attend another game until he goes. I don't want to see someone whose disrespected the club pull on the shirt again. I don't want to see us doing a United and chanting his name after he's dirtied the badge.

Feel free to ignore this thread, I just wanted it on record so if asked why I don't attend and given the "not a proper blue" line I can dig this up. Cheers all.

not a proper blue

in fairness though this is 21st century football. footballers driven by money and agents interfering.

he will play and he will put in 100% and he will still score goals and he will stay. we will get champions league football and he will still stay. you need to get that chip off your shoulder

I respect you choice!

For me Tevez is and always be (from now on) a ghost. Even if he singel handed give us the title he will be dead for me.

Cheers zeven. It's a hard choice to make but it'd be horrible having to see a man pull that shirt on purely because of money. Yes Yaya Toure and the others are 99% here for the money but they don't make that a known fact and I respect them for that.

Tevez has dirtied our name and his agent is trying to oust Cook. This is not on. They're trying to humiliate us, if we give in we look weak. More so if we chant his name. That however is your own choice if you chant his name and I won't hold it against you just like this is my own choice in not attending. Football is a game of opinions.

A Brief History Of Carlos Tevez
The boy's got form...

Boca Juniors (2001-2004)
Tevez forces his way out of the club claiming that the press intrusion in Argentina is too much for him and his family and the club aren't doing enough to support him. Public bust-up with manager also ensues.

Claims he loves the club and supporters, and always will.

Time at club: Two-and-a-half seasons.

Corinthians (2005-2006)
Tevez forces his way out of the club, going on strike, after arguments - some physical - with teammates, the head coach and the club president.

Claims he loves the club and supporters, and always will.

Time at club: One season.

West Ham (2006-2007)
Tevez almost immediately falls out with the manager and players. Storms off and threatens to go on strike after being substituted. Goes AWOL to Argentina at one point.

Claims he loves the club and supporters, and always will.

Time at club: One season.

Manchester United (2007-2009)
Tevez complains of being fatigued and overplayed in his first season. In his second, he complains of being underplayed - drama queening it every time he's taken off - managing just five goals, despite playing more minutes than the league's third top scorer Fernando Torres. Parting shot of "I'll scream in Ferguson's face when I score against them".

Claims he loves the club and supporters, and always will.

Time at club: Two seasons.

Manchester City (2009-????)
Tevez is tired, homesick, wants to retire, takes time off to see his daughter and is caught on camera spending that time allegedly banging his mistress (the actually banging remains unphotographed), feels there's too much greed in football despite being the highest-paid player in Britain, hates football in general yet throws a wobbly every time he's taken off, wants his old life back, hates the club executives, claims that he would like to punch his young teammates and finally hands in a transfer request.

Claims he loves the club and supporters, and always will.

Time at club: One-and-a-half seasons so far, some of it begrudgingly

I respect your choice here pal. Many won't, you'll prob get some stick off some, but it's up to you what you do.

I myself am a City fan. I support the club before I support any player. Players come and go, most of them don't give a shit about the club or the fans and I understand that. It's why I've never had a players name on the back of my shirt. There's only the odd few over the years I've been watching I've got ultimate respect for.

I want him out of the club as well. However I realise he may well remain a City player. But if he doesn't go I will not be cheering his name when the teams are called out; I will celebrate a goal he sets up or scores because they are City's goals, but I won't cheer his name when the tannoy says "and the scorer is Carlos Tevez"; and I won't be singing any songs for him, no chance!

I've thought about how I'll react if he walks out next Monday. I've never boo'd a City player before and don't want to start now. But this little idiot has made me so angry I'm not sure what I'll do if I see him in a City shirt again!

Well you pay your money your make your choices.

Its a bit childish and purile for me refusing to support your club because a player misbehaves, no fault of the club at all they have handled the situation well. But there you go.

Yeah I understand that it's not just Tevez, the other 24 boys need and deserve the support. Will probably rethink and do a danburge82. Just that Tevez has fucked me off a lot and I really want him out.

I don;t like what he's done either, but as said above it's about Man City, not Tevez or Jorabchoon. He will give us 100% on the pitch, I know that, despite the circumstances. His future should be sorted out off it, we are in the great position of not needing to keep him at all costs. It will all be sorted soon enough anyway, and if there is a chance that Tevez remains, I want him to see what e may have turned his back upon and realise he was wrong, not feel like an outcast, depsite his lack of respect for the fans.

What about the other 24 player in our squad? They deserve some support on match days, regardless of the Tevez issue.

Personally, I still think there is a fair chance this will all blow over. Even if it doesn't, if we set it in stone that he will be sold in Summer (Jan too soon for all concerned imo), if Tevez scores the goal that wins us the waffa league or gets us into the top for, I'll still cheer. It is about Manchester City, not individuals, be they players, agents or coaches.

By paying to see them I know I will get what I have always received for years - a great feeling of being at the home of the club I love. Maybe even some good footy now too. So, in summary, your choice if you don't go - I won't tell you that you are wrong because he has been an arse in part - but not a course of action I would ever take over the actions of one player and his agent.
