Update

Hi all, Its great that Spurs and City have started so well this season, hopefully it can continue right up to the end of the season and maybe force Manure or the scum out of a CL place.

I am glad that the Lescott sage as finally reached a conclusion, he will be your last signing this transfer window.

Mark Hughes believes you now have a top squad ready to challenge the top 4.

Don't build your hopes up that there is going to be one more marquee signing, this isn't going to happen.

Good luck for the season ahead, I hope you finish one place behind us in 2nd place. *wink*

Cheers

if what you say is right, would MH not have said' yes' when asked if lescott was his final signing instead of saying 'not necessarily'????????????..............

Cheers spursmad, heard anything about Sylvinho ?

Thanks for the update.

Id rather not sign anymore after lescott and let the squad gel.

PS never really cared about Spurs but id rather have them in top 4 (with us ofc) than the "Big 4". Good luck for the season spursmad321, and dont be a stranger.

Thanks Spursmad.

Great start to the season from City and Spurs. Think we'll both finish in the top 6, but it will be a big ask to dislodge any of the top 4.

agreed, bullshit again , hes hoping that will be true, why would he get our hopes up by saying not necessarily rather than just say no and just concentrate on the current squad , and stop the fans wondering . we will sign another player or two , maybe not massive signing , a couple of players for 10-15 million will do to provide a bit of competition in our attacking mid areas and a proper left back who can cover for bridge. if bridge is injured i wouldnt be happy if lescott had to go across to lb , i would much rather prefer him to stay at cb and buy someone who can play in that position , attacking mid aswell, now that elano has gone theres not much central attacking mid options if certain players are injured.

Might be Hughes doesn't want to say we're done just yet so that we can still hover like a shadow over the transfer market and make the other managers shit themselves for another week...
