Petrov's not been sold yet. Your not talkin about that Benfica article are you? Elano is no great loss in terms of squad depth. We currently have 6 players who have played at centre mid in our first team squad and 3 who can play off a striker.

we need wingers who can cross a ball and cause the defense trouble!! having strikers who can do that is no good , tevez robinho , were fucked if robbie gets injured , who is gonna play there , petrov will leave, someone told me he already has

well he is thicker than i thought if that is the case! there arent many good strikers that would get the nod ahead of drogba and anelka so he must be tripping to think he stands a chance there

Doubt that mate - MH has just said on the OS that Petrov is part of his plans for this season - lets take his word for it.

So the only contentious issue is Elano, and MH again has stated that Elano wouldn't have been a regular starter which, in a World Cup year and coupled with the return to fitness of Johnno and the emergence of Weiss, led to the decision to sell.

This suggests there is nothing whatsoever of the 'absolute bollocks' to Spursmad's statement.
