Update

Always been wary of this guy, seems to me he states the obvious AFTER hints from elsewhere, today's press conference MH mentioned that the JL deal could still be on and talks may continue, also said '' we want further strengthening to take place if we can (Lescott), if not, we go with what we've got''

watch the press conference on MCFC site and see/hear for yourself.

Cheers SM, do you know the specifics regarding Sturridge?

Its how he is....will never be truly content whatever the reason..

I watched the Hughes press conference this morning and standard transfer questions were rebuffed. We should all know by now Hughes keeps his cards very tight to his chest!! If you have been following this forum and SM's posts for a while (as I am guessing you did before you registered a month ago), you would have read SM's claim the deal was all agreed but for a signature. Where did Hughes state that today or in any other press conference?!?! If Spursmad has taken a hint from him please could you point out where exactly.

After the Lescott deal this will conclude your deals for this transfer window, this is why there's not much info about.

And some info to bring a smile to your faces, the Kid Sturridge is already throwing his toys out of the pram, apparantly a very unhappy bunny.

Cheers

Ps. Forget about the Messi crap, this isn't on your agenda at all.

Thanks. Is this 100%. Upset by your ps as well. I felt sure that we had Messi in the bag for the weekend. Ah well, cant have everything can we.

Even tho we have got a lot of quality in as far as numbers go we are still short especially in midfield ..... our squad was quite small last season and having let go just as many as we have brought in we are still one of the smallest squads ..... With no RSC and Adebayor available for the weekend we have the unfit Tevez and Bellamy who has been struggling with his knee ..... then we have Benjani, in midfield we need 2 and another striker or injuries will set us back.

Happy with the players in but depth is a problem.
