I agree with you that he was ITK with the taylor signing (can't remember the Barry one but I'll take your word for it) but I think he just got carried away with it to be honest.

your right , he told everyone about taylor and barry , but since then hes been full of shit and come out with a load of crap that never happened , and now with lescott , saying the obvious with a twist!! because of taylor and barry everyone should beleive this guy like hes jesus.

He predicted the Terry bid before it was announced, though he never said that was 100%.

He also said the Eto'o deal was 100% which, to be fair, was correct. I believe that the clubs had agreed a fee and Eto'o had agreed terms with us - but the sticking point was between Barca and Eto'o. From our club's point of view we did think the signing was 100% until we got fed up of barca and eto'o being unable to sort things out - at which point we pulled the plug.

What happened next is plain to see - both Barca and Eto'o were buggered. Inter must have been laughing the heads off over the Ibra deal, he's certainly not worth £40m more than Eto'o but Barca had to do the deal or Eto'o would have left for nothing next season. I think they also had to throw in a loan player too making it an even worse deal.

Lescott remains to be seen... I'll judge him on that when the window closes.

He also said RSC was a done deal when most City fans thought it was a red herring and we were going for Tevez and Eto'o. The only thing he got wrong was Eto'o but as a previous poster said, that deal was done apart from technicalities.

Hi all, Its great that Spurs and City have started so well this season, hopefully it can continue right up to the end of the season and maybe force Manure or the scum out of a CL place.

I am glad that the Lescott sage as finally reached a conclusion, he will be your last signing this transfer window.

Mark Hughes believes you now have a top squad ready to challenge the top 4.

Don't build your hopes up that there is going to be one more marquee signing, this isn't going to happen.
