Okay Blues so I'm considering giving my CV a revamp but I'm quite curious to hear from the employers on here what are the do's and don'ts for them? It seems that different formats of CV seem to drift in and out of fashion so I'm wondering what I should consider and what 'catches the eye'.
All feedback appreciated really especially from those on here who view applications on a regular basis.

Just been through the same process myself.

Used these articles to help give mine a more modern up to date look:

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.pareto.co.uk/blog/2014/12/top-cv-trends-for-2015/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.pareto.co.uk/blog/2014/12/to ... -for-2015/</a>

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.talentculture.com/career-strategy/modernize-your-resume-for-2015-part-2/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.talentculture.com/career-str ... 15-part-2/</a>

Page 1 should really be about selling your skills, talents and high level experience.

Page 2 should contain key employment history and usual stuff about interests, references, education, etc.

Hope this helps :-)
