What gets me is the fact that the GoP has won the popular vote only once in the last 30 years but due to the electoral college and luck they’ve stacked the court 6:3 and are now about repeal a 50 year old law that has the support of 3 in 4 Americans.

And they lecture other countries about democracy. They really don’t know the meaning of the word.

Actually the arguments for owning slaves and the argument for the right to abortion are actually analogous.

1. Both dehumanize an entire class of people as less than humans: Blacks in one, and the unborn . In the other.

2. Both made similar rhetorical claims. "My body my choice" in the case if abortion, and "My property my decision" in the case if slavery.

The worst thing about some Americans obsession with abortion is they don’t give a toss what happens to the child after it’s born.

Will it be safe? Will it be properly housed? Will it be fed? Will it have access to decent education? They don’t care about any of that. They just don’t want it to be aborted. After it’s born it can starve to death in a ditch for all they care. It’s fucking ridiculous.

I don't understand what the relevance of this point is. I've always thought it was a weak one.

If someone killed a homeless person, it's still be considered a crime. Regardless of whether they didn't care about the person.

And for the record, you are wrong about who cares. The numbers on that have been ones sided for over 30 years. Just do some research on who donated more to the needy.

It's not even close.

So, you are wrong on multiple counts:
1. The argument on abortion has little to do with caring afterwards. Rathers it's about whether some have the rights to extinguish a line or not.

2. In so far as who cares is concerned, it's undeniable which side puts more of their wallets to the cause of the needy.

Arguing for a woman’s choice is 100% the same as dehumanising black foetuses.
