Not uniting the nation in any way shape of form to date ( lets give him more time but the early signs are poor ) , remember his words I am for all Americans no matter your political colour.

Not perfect (this isn't voters per se), but this is from the Brookings Institute from a 10/1 publication.

Of Americans surveyed from Sept. 13-22, 72% of adults 18 and older had been vaccinated, including 71% of white Americans, 70% of Black Americans, and 73% of Hispanics.

Contrast these converging figures with disparities based on politics: 90% of Democrats had been vaccinated, compared with 68% of Independents and just 58% of Republicans.

There's no reason to believe that these gaps in vaccination rates will disappear anytime soon.

I'm going to chalk up your posts on this topic to either a lack of familiarity with what's happening in my country or simple naivety rather than to some agenda.

I thought this list of lowest %age vaccination levels was instructive:

States with less than 50% fully vaccinated as of today (in descending order):
Montana, Indiana, South Carolina, Missouri, Oklahoma, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, North Dakota, U.S. Virgin Islands, Mississippi, Alabama, Wyoming, Idaho, West Virginia

What does a united nation look like? I doubt it has ever existed past WW2. He is trying but there are 30% of Americans who follow Trump no matter what. He can try and help them all he wants but they wont accept it. He doesnt differ between red and blue states he tries to govern all alike. the fact the red states dont want anything to do with him can hardly be attributed to him not trying. I mean, youve even got the senate leader of the republican party admitting he is going out of his way to make sure Biden fails. How do you unite that?

Anyway, I think you just troll the politics forum so I'll leave it now. Most of your points are made up or at best disingenuous.

But they are not brainwashed members of a cult obvs - and they expect their gesture will mean the 2020 election result is overturned and victory awarded to their deity?

Thing is - their resignations CAN be accepted under the law - Trumps reinstatement cannot take place under the law.

No agenda Fog and thank you for acknowledging that a stark contrast from other posters , I think the US can do much better on the home and international front to get the numbers up particularly with availability and the low rate in poorer countries notwithstanding the evidence on waning seems genuine and a booster not matter the vaccine type NRMA .

I probably have less time for the previous president than you do even though on a personal level his influence outside the income they get from you might alter a tad depending on legislation etc.

Nova vax trials seem very encouraging.

Whether we call them anti vaxxers or whatever you have to accommodate all into the community otherwise you end up marginalising another cohort and you would know better then me how many are in the US on a number of levels.

At least you have progressed from the days when many couldn't and maybe you should make the changes to make voting compulsory.

You are interpreting my post incorrectly , the claim was not wildly inaccurate , I spoke about covid since Biden was elected and made his speech and you took this as since Biden took office ( mind you when you are elected there is such a thing as getting your act together in the 10 weeks as the world stops for no one Westy not even you ).

I think the problem is a lot of us in the UK actually forget how vast the USA is. We think of uniting the USA in the same terms as our Irish problem, Scottish indy ambitions or the north south divide. Sadly the only way you can really unite America is probably through fear - Soviet attack, international communism, Islamic terrorism for example.
