USA vs Mexico at 7:00EST!

Watch and tell me what you think? Hopefully we will pull out a good game against Mexico. Few years hopefully America will have a much much better academies and youth foundation. Although the game will be really late for you guys! or early lol seeing as it will be like Thursday morning.

2-0 win was a good game! Tim Howard di really well. USA needs to strighten up on defence and get there positioning and reactions much better. Also in midfield they need to make beter calls than what they have as they aren't as strong a presence. Their finishing is quite good and they are quality on set pieces. They just need to be a bit more physical and creative in the final third.

Most likely yes he will though I think they still qualified or they are second in the group. USA pulled out a good performance but they weren't great. Showed alot of potential but had also some potentially dangerous moments at their back four.
 
Am I the only person who thought both sides were terrible in this game? I'm a USA supporter but thought our level of play was embarrassing. Maybe I've been watching too much European football and the transition back to US was too much to take. Three points is great but that was not good football. I promise I'm not usually this negative!

Oh no it definately was not great! It was decent. Our back 4 were sloppy, slow and uncoordinated. The midfield really was no were to be seen and our attacking wasn't very physical or creative. However we excelled on set pieces and our finishing wasn't too bad. Tim Howard was really good and probly saved us a few times. Mexico missed too many chances and kinda dominated. Our midfield passing was weak and made alot of mistakes.

Our overall performance 5/10. It wasn't horrible but wasn't good. Was slightly decent.


I thought our game against Sweden was much better. We did way better on defence up until the last 20 minutes. They had good heading and good passing. We were creative and had much stronger presence in midfield. I thought we could have kept the ball on the ground alot more though. One thing we lack in final third is strength. That performance was more of a 7/10.
 
weather had a lot to do with it. There were tornado warnings in the area before, during, and after the game.
