useful andriod apps

Just purchased a Orange San Francisco smartphone from Ebay officially lauching myself into the 21st century. The possibilities seem almost endless with the kind of things you can do with these devices and I've heard after doing a bit of research that there is almost 200,000 apps currently on the andriod marketplace. I'm sure a large amount of you on here all own smartphones, was just wondering which apps you find useful and which ones you use on a daily basis that might be of interest to me.

If it doesnt come rooted I;d suggest looking here and upgrading to 2.2, I did it with my daughters and it works great. Still wont work with flash though.

Get qr droid , it's free , it allows you to scan the [bigimg]http://www.simplydroid.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/SimplyDroid-QRcode1.png[/bigimg]

in your booklet with your season ticket pack , once scanned it plays a video , you can find these in newspapers as well.

Google Goggles works for QR codes too, but looks up standard barcodes and stuff for you too. QR Droid is best if you want to make them for yourself.

Manchester City Total News. Unofficial App but it's very good for the latest news. Even has a scrolling Twitter feed at the bottom.
