Ive got two daughters that are now no longer classed as jrs (17 & 19) but over the past few seasons when they couldn't make it to a game I used to pass on their tickets to any blues to use, no charge included. Never had a problem in them getting in.

Seems a mate of mine borrowed one of his mates young sons season ticket last night, whom for whatever reason couldn't attend the game and when he got to the turnstile they refused him entry. Maybe the club are cracking down on the miss use of season tickets this year? Just thought i'd let anyone know whom might be considering doing the same thing at some point.

Theres a light that the steward can check when the card is swipped which indicates if it's an adult or child ticket.

TBF mate it's also stealing from the club.

Yeah Ive seen the light every season and have always said to anyone using the ticket that if you get turned away then thats tough. I do also tell them to go in ten minutes before kick off when its usually busy and they're less likely to pull you. I'm not getting all moral on the rights and wrongs of it all though, just thought if anyone was thinking of offering a mate their kids ticket for the odd game, then just be aware to get it upgraded beforehand or face the risk.

They cant check everyone surely. Just make sure you go through the turnstile during a busy period.....

They are stood next to the turnstile and all they have to do is look at a light. Seeing as fans go in one by one i would suggest it wouldnt matter if it was busy or not. Suprised it happened in the past. Must be one of the easier things to check for.

a lot of the time they don't really take any notice of it. Just get a mate to go in first and destract them.
